Leading Edge PPG is a paramotor school and full-service technical shop based in Southwest Michigan. Justin Fox and Alexis Quintana combine professional instruction with hands-on experience inspecting and repairing gliders, manufacturing replacement lines, servicing paramotor engines, and repairing or fabricating airframes.
Our experience extends beyond our own school. Between us, our backgrounds include USPPA Instructor Administrator and association leadership, EAA involvement, demonstration flying at airshows with Airythmia, free-flight experience, SIV training, and collaborative instruction with other established paramotor schools.
Pilots deserve high-quality instruction, meticulous equipment standards, and honest guidance they can trust.
From our training field to our glider inspection shop, everything we do is focused on helping pilots understand their equipment, build real flying skills, and enjoy the sport safely for years to come.
Why We Started Leading Edge PPG
Leading Edge PPG was created to provide pilots with the kind of training and equipment support we believe every pilot deserves.
Too often pilots are rushed through training or left guessing about the condition of their equipment. Our goal is to do things differently, combining thorough instruction with careful equipment inspection so pilots can fly with confidence.
The Instructors Behind Leading Edge PPG
Two instructors dedicated to helping pilots fly safely and understand their equipment.
Industry Leadership & Aviation Involvement
Justin and Alexis actively support organizations that promote safety, education, and responsible growth in powered paragliding.
Their involvement with the USPPA, EAA, and the Airythmia demonstration team helps introduce new pilots to the sport while supporting the broader aviation community.
United States Powered Paragliding Association (USPPA)
The USPPA works to preserve, promote, and advance the sport of powered paragliding by supporting instructors, promoting safety standards, and representing pilots within the aviation community.
Alexis currently served as USPPA President from 2024-2025 after previously serving as Vice President and currently serves as Events Chair. Justin is a USPPA Instructor Administrator. Both remain actively involved in instructor development, pilot education, and the responsible growth of powered paragliding.
Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA)
Justin serves as an Ultralight Co-Chairman and previously served on the Ultralight and Light-Sport Council representing the paramotor community with the EAA, providing guidance to pilots on ultralight aircraft and equipment safety.
Justin and Alexis are longtime EAA volunteers and active members of the ultralight community. Their AirVenture involvement includes coordinating paramotor and PPC operations in the Fun Fly Zone, in addition to demonstration flying and industry outreach.
Airythmia Paramotor Demonstration Team
Justin and Alexis are founding members of the Airythmia Paramotor Demonstration Team performing at major aviation events including:

• Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo
• Wings Over Batavia Airshow
• New Jersey Airshow
• other shows throughout the country
The team’s mission is to introduce new audiences to the sport of paramotoring and demonstrate the precision and beauty of powered paraglider flight.

Beginner foot and wheel launch, transition and continued skill development under USPPA-rated instructors.

Proficiency Before Progression
We don’t measure training success by getting a student airborne as quickly as possible. Students progress when they demonstrate the knowledge, judgment, and practical skills necessary for the next step.
That philosophy continues after the first flight. Completing a scheduled beginner course does not automatically mean a pilot has earned a USPPA rating. Ratings are issued when the individual pilot has demonstrated the required proficiency and built the experience required to both satisfy the rating criteria and continue safe paramotor flight.
The same approach applies in our technical work: measurements, manufacturer specifications, and actual equipment condition determine our recommendations, not whether an answer is convenient.
Based in Southwest Michigan
Leading Edge PPG trains pilots in Three Rivers, Michigan.
Students travel from across the Midwest to train with us, and we also travel nationally for aviation events, demonstrations, and community involvement.
Serving Pilots Nationwide
While based in Michigan, Leading Edge PPG supports pilots throughout the United States.
Pilots regularly ship their gliders and motors to our shop for inspection and repair services. Our Rapid Lines service provides fast turnaround for damaged lines so pilots can get back in the air quickly.
